How to obtain an NVIDIA GPU UUID
The NVIDIA GPU UUID is a globally unique identifier used for license management in the CodeMAX SDK. A GPU UUID looks like this "GPU-9368ddc7-d56e-294b-af25-a39349f7cf44". You can obtain an NVIDIA GPU UUID in one of the following ways:
- Execute the shell command "$nvidia-smi -L" which will output the UUID`s of all GPU`s in the system.
- Execute the shell command "$cat /proc/driver/nvidia/gpus/xxx/information", where xxx represents the GPU number, which will print GPU information including the UUID.
- Open the NVIDIA X Server Settings tool and select a GPU in the list to see the GPU UUID.
- CodeMAX SDK support for Windows is coming soon.
